Weekend Round Up

What a fantastic weekend to be from Limerick*.

My significant other was in the front row of the Millennium Stadium and ended up being shown on TV more times than some of the players. He even managed to catch a ball at one stage although unfortunately that wasn’t caught on camera. Lorraine has some great photos from Saturday and as usual the Limerick Blogger has plenty of details and videos. Bock is still over there of course so we’ll have to wait till later in the week to hear more from him.

I met the fantastic Alexia yesterday, another blogger who failed to disappoint in the “lovely in person” stakes. We had a late lunch in CafĂ© on the Row, the food was ok, my Greek Salad wasn’t all that Greek (the ice-berg lettuce and bog standard dressing was the give away and although it’s forgivable I’m not a fan of peppers in Greek Salad) but the company was great. We also managed to squeeze in a trip to Imasa and we soaked up some of the atmosphere of the homecoming although we both had to leave before the real celebrations got started.

In other news, I started a new craft project, my bag for the wedding I’m attending in July. Photos to follow. I also picked up a customized t-shirt from Nice Day Designs in the Bedford Row Market. Ruth is an amazing artist so her stall is a must if you fancy adding something a little different to your wardrobe.

* What to you mean there are other counties in Munster?
