Style Treaty

For the past few months I have tormented Maz (and anyone else who will listen…) with my search for the perfect dress. I’ve got 5 weddings this year, I have one dress to wear and wanted to get another dress hoping that I will be able to get through the 5 weddings with two dresses.

I’ve had the picture of an emerald green satin halter neck dress in my head for so long, the only problem is that I didn’t even know if this dress existed. I know I could have gotten it made but that would have been too easy!

The first wedding is next weekend so I was really in a rush to find my dress, I went to Cork on Saturday, slightly defeated knowing that I would have to compromise and just buy any dress on my last possible day of shopping before the wedding. But low and behold, on the second shop I went into I found my perfect dress! (Ok its not emerald green but apart from that its perfect!)

The fit is perfect, its like it was made for me! I got it in Warehouse so I know there may be a risk of someone else getting the same dress but I’m so happy with it that I’m not even that bothered (…but just in case any of you are going to a wedding in Limerick in the next two weeks please don’t buy this dress!)

Now the search begins for shoes and accessories. The verdict is out - a few people have told me that I should get gold. I love gold but think this would work better if the dress was a deeper emerald green. A few more people have suggested silver but I’m not a huge fan of silver shoes. The only decent dressy sandals I have are black and these do nothing for it. Suggestions please!
